How Wholesale Sourcing Works at KD’s Sales
Wholesale sourcing starts with a clear buying requirement. KD’s Sales helps business buyers explore well-priced bulk products and connects suitable inventory opportunities with that demand. Our initial focus is California, and fulfillment arrangements are discussed for each deal.
1. Tell us what your business buys
Start with a product, brand or category. Add the quantity you need and your destination if you know them. Buyer requests focus on full pallets and truckloads. You can also describe acceptable alternatives, preferred packaging and whether you are looking for a one-time purchase or an ongoing source.
2. Define what makes an opportunity suitable
A familiar brand is only one part of the decision. Product condition, pack size, remaining shelf life where relevant, quantities and total cost can determine whether a lot fits your business. Tell us about requirements that would rule out a product so they can be considered early.
- Exact products, models or grades when these matter
- Minimum acceptable condition and shelf life
- Pallet or truckload quantity and pack configuration
- Target pricing and delivery destination
- Intended resale channel and required documentation
3. Review the details of a specific lot
When discussing an opportunity, establish the exact contents, current availability, stock location and supporting information. Product photos on category pages are examples, not a live inventory feed. A listed or discussed opportunity still needs direct confirmation before purchase.
4. Confirm the role and total commercial terms
Inventory may be owned, brokered or held by a supplier. KD’s Sales’ role is clarified for the transaction, along with any agreed brokerage fee or resale margin. Review product price, freight and handling, payment terms and responsibility for fulfillment together. An inquiry is not an order or a reservation.
5. Check the intended resale channel
If you plan to sell on Amazon, Walmart or another channel, say so in your brief. Product sourcing does not automatically establish permission to resell a brand or eligibility for a marketplace. Documentation, restrictions and applicable requirements must be assessed for the particular opportunity.
Keep the conversation useful
If your requirements change, update the product list and quantities before reviewing another lot. If an opportunity is not suitable, explain which details did not fit. A precise brief gives the next sourcing discussion a better starting point without implying a guaranteed match.
