What to Include in a Bulk Inventory Offer

A useful inventory offer helps a buyer understand exactly what is being offered and what still needs to be confirmed. You do not need a perfect presentation to contact KD’s Sales. Start with the essentials, then share supporting details as the conversation develops.

Start with a short summary

Tell us your company name, how to reach you, what products you have, the available quantity and your asking price. Include the inventory location. Our initial form stays short so you can introduce a deal without assembling every document first.

  • Product name and brand
  • Quantity, with clear units such as cases or pallets
  • Condition and relevant dates
  • Asking price and whether it is per unit, case, pallet or complete lot
  • City and state where the inventory is located

Make the quantities easy to understand

A pallet count alone does not describe a lot. Include units per case and cases per pallet when known. For mixed inventory, list each product separately with its quantity. If your count is estimated or changes frequently, explain that so it can be confirmed before a deal.

Describe condition before discussing price

Disclose damaged packaging, opened units, missing accessories or other known issues. For beverages, include the date codes and quantities associated with each date. For electronics, identify the model and condition of each group. For motor oil, share the exact product line, grade and container size shown on the labels.

Prepare useful supporting material

An itemized manifest and clear photos can help with follow-up. Photograph labels, case packaging and the overall lot where you have permission. Share available provenance or product documentation when requested. Keep bank details, identity documents and unrelated customer information out of the initial submission.

Clarify the commercial details

Say whether you own the stock or represent another party, who can confirm availability, and whether there are known resale restrictions. State any collection constraints or special handling needs. Freight, fees, payment and fulfillment responsibilities are agreed for the specific transaction—not assumed from the first message.

What happens after you submit?

KD’s Sales reviews the information and considers potential buyer fit. If there is a suitable next step, we discuss the details directly. Submitting inventory does not guarantee a buyer, purchase, accepted price or delivery arrangement. Direct purchasing is focused on full truckloads; brokerage submission minimums are confirmed in conversation.
